I have practiced yoga in a formal setting for 5 years. However, I have followed many aspects of a yogi’s way of life for far longer, even though I did not realize it for most of my life. I have always had an innate propensity to take care of myself and others-physically, mentally and spiritually-and yoga has helped me to distil these natural inclinations into a class that is fun and exhilarating, while guiding students through a practice aimed at reminding us to be grateful for all that we have-be that good health, family and friends or, of course, our breath.
When not teaching, you will likely find me snowboarding down a mountain, fulfilling my curiosity of traveling to a distant location and exploring other cultures or hanging out at Beano, relaxing with a cup of espresso coffee and doing absolutely nothing. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty by fixing-up my old 68 Camaro or digging around my vegetable garden.
Thanks to Elia & Jimmy (my ma and pa), Tracy and Lerrita (my teachers). The 4 of you have giving me meaningful inspiration. And thanks to Aryn for finding me on that island, and giving me La dolce vita.
