ISHTA Yoga |

ISHTA Yoga is a combination of Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vini and other yoga teachniques. Through a blend of Asana(physical postures), Pranayama(breath)and Tantra(mediatation), this challenging class will leave you feeling energized, strong and relaxed. ISHTA is a sanskrit term that means 'individual.' The Ishta practice encourages us to find our own individual 'best self.' |

Restorative [Yin] Yoga |

An opportunity to restore your energy levels, physical, mental, and emotional, in this yin style practice of passive openings and longer-hold stretches utilizing a number of props for full body support. Several traditional yin postures are blended in to target specific joint openings through mild energetic long-holds getting into the deeper connective tissue and fascia, complementing the yang side of the practice through increased energy flow. |

Vinyasa 1 |

Designed for the first time yoga student but also great for those more experienced in their asana practice. Emphasis on the foundation postures, deepening awareness of the breath, core strengthening techniques & sensations of the body while practicing. |

Core Yoga |
| |
The core is located at the centre of the body & consists of the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, internal & external obliques & the erector spinae. Practice emphasis is on the development of strength & flexibility of the core muscles to improve balance, stability, alignment & range of motion. Awareness of the core is developed through the breath & by engaging these muscles in the asanas, featuring slightly longer holds in the asanas to strengthen & lengthen the core muscles. A flowing class suitable for all levels & designed to enhance both inner & outer strength. |

Feature Fridays |

Let Christy guide you through a special feature practice to kick of the week-end. Following a vinyasa style format, particular attention will be given to the selected feature of the week. (Familiarity with the asanas is recommended for this practice). |

A gentle class that slows down the flow, focussing on the precision & integrity of each asana or posture. Building strength & awareness as you explore the depths of your practice. A great class for beginners, those nursing injuries & all levels. |

Sundae Yoga |

A rich & creamy Sundae afternoon treat to help you smoothly transition into your week. Combining both hatha and ashtanga sun salutations to warm the body, a flowing standing practice and short seated practice follows. The last 15 to 20 minutes of the class includes meditation, deep relaxation or yoga nidra. |
